Best time to Visit:

Kenya is located along the equator. This makes its weather generally warm, sunny and not extreme. Th coastal regions are warm and comfortable through out the year. Kenya has two wet seasons and two dry seasons.

  • Dry Season- January and March, and also July and October
  • Rainy Season- April-June (long rains) and October- December (Short rains)

If you’re planning for a safari during your vacation in Kenya, try to coincide it with the Masai Mara animal migration which occurs annually between July and October. You when see herds of zebras, wildebeest and gazelle roaming across the scenic plains. Visiting Kenya during the dry season means you will have clear views of the animals from a distance. Birdlife is best explored in January and March.
